Checks the presence of the original safety thread.
Decodes the magnetic codes, unique to each denomination of bank-note.
Indicates a good note by a led, a beep and, on the screen, the confirmed note value gives you the opportunity to refuse the suspect payment and so protects your cash.

Photopound can operate resting on a surface, or be fixed to the wall by means of a specific kit.
In both cases, the banknote does not fall as it is held by the automatic transport system.
